Director of Client Account Management

THE CHALLENGE

A rapidly expanding mid-stage startup was looking for an experienced client success leader with niche experience in the SaaS space. The position was posted on the client’s website career page and popular job boards for months (ie. Monster, Indeed, etc.) with no avail.

This individual would be the first Director of Client Account Management to join the team. They would be working within a low-resource environment and setting up foundational processes. Walking in, they knew this individual would need to address churn and low customer satisfaction.

An industry disruptor in its space, our client required a dedicated team capable of conveying the intricacies of the product and business to potential candidates while also managing a complex interview process.

OUR SOLUTION

Summit Search Consultants canvased the market, including diasporic talent, with the desired skillset and culture fit.

SSC deployed a true headhunting effort that consisted of over 8 contact attempts for each candidate, including off-hours calls, text messages, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. 6 out of 10 shortlisted candidates ultimately moved forward as finalists.
