Our client sought out a critical hire: a Director of Hardware & Software Engineering whose support would be critical in advancing an innovative medical imaging technology. The role required a unique leader capable of writing code and providing hands-on tactical leadership, while simultaneously translating strategic initiatives to the broader team and partnering with the entire ELT to advance a fast-paced commercial launch.
The ideal candidate needed experience within the medical technology space and the technical ability to lead complex engineering teams. Additionally, this leader would need both hardware and software know-how, a niche combination further narrowed by the industry focus.
