THE CHALLENGE
The client posted a job opening for their first-ever Vice President of US Sales.
The job was posted to multiple job boards over a period of 3 months.
Additionally, multiple firms under a contingent structure had produced minimal results (off-profile candidates, candidates outside of the country, etc.).
A hire was made prior to engaging with SSC but it was apparent after only a few months, that the hire was not the right match.
OUR SOLUTION
After a thorough in-take meeting with the CEO, it was clear that Summit Search Consultants needed to deploy a better targeting of InsureTech SaaS leadership experience, specifically in the startup world.
After executing a true head-hunting effort, with better targeting of true SaaS sales leaders in the InsureTech startup segment, SSC recruited 28 Longlisted, on-profile candidates.
3 candidates were shortlisted within the first 4 days of initiating the search.
In total, 8 candidates were presented and interviewed, and the CEO had 3 finalists to choose from.
As of this writing, the VP of Sales has been in his role for 2+ years.
