Corporate Build Studio

EIR/Founder/Creator Multi-Hire Project

Challenge:

Build Studio Director wanted to bring on Founders/EIRs to ideate ways to simplify/moderize the way we interface with home appliances. He wanted experienced CEOs/Founders willing to create from a whiteboard and then put in the work to develop the tech and the team. Through his initial outreach and recruiting efforts, he discovered a shortage of candidates with both a successful track record and the interest to recreate another wheel. 

Our Approach:

SSC researched the residential IoT market for successful founders and CEOs, also canvassing the greater proptech and climate tech talent pools. We screened over 150 CEO/Founders over a 5-week period. 

Result:

SSC placed 12 EIRs/Founders for this Build Studio. One of those EIRs successfully developed a software that allows home owners to throw away those cumbersome appliance manuals and go paperless with regards to their appliances, saving valuable time for the home owner and repair/maintenance workers.
