Challenge:
The company had a disruptive, new technology, had been largely focused on the product approval process and research for nearly a decade. Post-approval, they needed to pivot to a true GTM strategy which meant making some critical changes to key personnel to execute this next stage. The new CEO did not have faith in their past talent acquisition partners to lead this initiative and he reached out to Summit Search Consultants for support.
Our Approach:
Our team sought out technology leaders in the medtech industry with both software and hardware expertise. Given the niche market and the onsite requirements associated with this position, SSC strategically researched and headhunted this talent pool. Despite these limitations, SSC still produced a longlist of 170 candidates.
Our Result:
Out of the 170 candidates identified for longlist, SSC carefully vetted 45 candidates, yielding a shortlist of 10. The CEO was pleased to have 2 finalist candidates to choose from. A hire was made in less than 2 months from commencement to placement.
