Manufacturing Corporation
The Role
Human Resources Manager
THE CHALLENGE
The company was previously splitting the HR functions between two members of the leadership team. This was a newly created position that would appoint someone to focus on all HR-related responsibilities.
The best match for this role was going to be someone who enjoys HR management of internal corporate employees as well as outside sales and technician personnel.
Because this position had never previously existed in the organization, the client wasn’t able to point to a previous person who had success in this role.
The position was on-site which meant we were restricted to the local talent in the market and relocation was not desirable by the client.
Several key stakeholders were involved in this decision.
OUR SOLUTION
SSC approached all the local talent in the market to ensure every stone was overturned.
Our team’s head-hunting effort resulted in 5 local shortlisted candidates who met the requirements and had the intangibles to oversee the inside and outside teams.
The interview process was managed with a sense of urgency and the position was filled with someone who truly blends into this organization with a family-like culture.
