THE CHALLENGE
Early stage startup was looking for a true client success leader with niche experience in the SaaS world, without the budget to compete with the local Chicago market on compensation.
Required daily commutes to the office which differed from the norm of remote or hybrid models.
The position was posted on the client’s website career page and popular job boards for months (ie. Monster, Indeed, etc.) with subpar results.
The lengthy interview process presented challenges with keeping talent engaged until the conclusion of the interview process.

SSC deployed a true headhunting effort that included after-hours calls as many of these candidates could not spare the time during working hours to discuss new opportunities.
10 of the 30 candidates submitted were chosen as finalists.
Director of Client Success who was placed is still with this company, 3.5 years later post-acquisition.
